WHY HUNGARY

Medicine at a premium. Everything else at real value.

Semmelweis, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged have taught medicine in English for decades. Business at Corvinus and BME is considerably cheaper.

The Stipendium Hungaricum government scholarship covers tuition plus a living stipend. It is competitive, but worth applying for.

THE HONEST PART

There is an entrance exam, and it is not a formality.

  • Biology and chemistry, usually with an interview. Prepare properly, several months out. Exams often run in regional centres in South Asia and the Gulf.
  • Show funds over time. A consistent six-month bank history, not a sudden lump sum.

Hungary suits you if

  • Your child is set on medicine or dentistry
  • They can prepare for a real science exam
  • You want central European costs

Look elsewhere if

  • You want admission without an entrance exam (Romania)
  • You are looking outside medicine and sciences
  • Your child needs a lot of part-time work

Coaching and guidance only, not legal advice. Not an immigration lawyer or agent. Every pathway goes through the official channel of the destination country.
